Your climbing holidays in Margalef
Beginners and Advanced climbers are welcome to join our courses.
Beginners: you should have previous climbing experience, know how to use climbing gear and how to belay safely.
During your holidays you will learn everything you need to climb outdoors safely: How to move on the rock, footwork. Top rope and lead climbing techniques. How to clean top anchors.
If you are an Advanced climber with previous outdoor experience we will help you to improve your climbing techniques, together we will find you a project, so you can improve your red point grade, also we will work on on-sighting the routs.

Oh, those 30 meters long routes!
Margalef is quite a young climbing area, first routes were bolted here by Jordi Pou in 1996. Nevertheless Margalef counts with more than 1600 routes. About 800 routes are under 7a+ grade, which makes Margalef a perfect destination for amateur climbers.
Margalef is a unique climbing area because we can climb here all year around! Spring and autumn are the best seasons to climb, with perfect and very pleasant temperatures, when we can combine climbing in the shade and sun.
The rock here is conglomerate. Pockets, a lot of pockets: one, two, three finger pockets.

Accommodation
On our climbing trip we offer you accommodation in the apartment. You will share your stay just with two persons.
The apartment is situated in the heart of Margalef and has 2 bedrooms, one living room, fully equipped kitchen, balcony and one bathroom.

Transport
All transport is included in your trip: transfer from/to Barcelona El Prat airport, transportations to the crags, excursions days.
Transfer from/to Barcelona El Prat airport is organised the first and the last day of your trip (normally Saturday). As your group will consist of people from different countries, the shuttle will leave from the airport at 18:00 pm lates.
From Margalef to Barcelona we will leave at 8:00 am earliest, also depending on group flights. Please consider this timetable when you book your tickets.
Margalef is about 2h:15 min ride from the airport.
If you want to come to Margalef earlier or later we can organise you a private transfer on additional cost 120 Euros (price is valid for one way, the hole car: up to 3 passengers).

Rock climbing equipment
We will provide you with all climbing gear:

- Quickdraws and carabiners
- Belay device
- Helmet (better if you bring your own)
Rest day
Sightseeing is also included in your package. During our rest day we will discover Priorat region with it's little charming villages and the excellent wines made in the DO Montsant and DOQ Priorat. We will visit a winery, will walk through the vineyard and will taste different wines.
